 Our Story

Parks Youth Ranch opened their doors in 2011 to provide emergency shelter, counseling, and life changing services to abused and neglected youth ages 7-17. The ranch sits on eight acres of land and has two fully stocked fishing ponds — providing children in crisis the therapeutic effects of nature and the comforting aesthetics of a family-style ranch home. Located on the ranch property are three facilities: the Fred and Mabel R. Parks Emergency Shelter, the George Counseling Center, and the Fort Bend Junior Service League Recreation Center.
